Hello strangers

Well hello every one how are you all doing??

What a busy few months we have had, we moved into our new house on Jan 15th and it wasn't even finished. We still had to tile the main bathroom,and our en-suite and also get it all plumbed in so it was guest bath room for us. was worth the wait as they are lovely and boy i love our bath, i have always wanted a Mrs Solice tub and now we do yay.
During Feb our parents arrived for a few weeks and it was fantastic having them here, Gary took the time of off work but i couldn't as i had just started back but i only work 3x6 hour shifts a week so it was fine. They had an absolute ball and Garys dad even had a house picked out that he would of loved to buy lol. We had just had our patios done a few days before they arrived so there was a lot of sunbathing while they were here, in fact they spent all there time walking around or sitting out the back and just relaxing oh yes and there was heaps of drinking going on which of course was good at the time lol
Good news with my job I am now the senior manager and have started an online college course to get my managers certs ,which gives me my liquor licence. I am also 2 months into my business course that i am doing,let me tell you i was finding it hard to begin with i was so overwhelmed but i am getting into it now. I am still a massive scrapbook er and that will be 1 year on the 10th I have been doing it. I'm on a Design Team on-line and i just love it. Gary is doing great to,he just completed his first practical part of his college course 2 weeks ago in Hamilton and has 2 more practical weeks to go this year plus all the home study of course. He is loving his new job the hard part is the 14 days solid at work but then he gets 14 days off , pretty cool works 6 months of the year but gets paid the whole year round :) This is great as it allows him to go to Lucy's dancing and Swimming lessons and spend lots of time with us plus lots of golfing with his friends, and of course work round the house.
Lucy is just an angel,when she's asleep lol no really she is doing great she just went up to the advanced swimmers class last week i swear she was a fish in an other life lol during the lesson she spends all her time under the water lol. She loves her dancing too and does amazing at it,she is a natural,Dancing with the stars watch out for Lucy :) She is in day care 3 days a week from 8-3 while i work and she loves it she is just so confident and loves playing with her friends. Her new thing is her scooter ,she is so fast on it ,in fact this is how she gets around the house these days she doesn't walk anywhere lol, thank god we have no carpets in the house and our path goes all the way round the house so she just does laps of that.
I have started this week to landscape the garden out front though we still have the mountain of dirt where the lawn will go , this was where they dug out the driveway.I put some phormiums up the side of the drive and just some carex under the windows, we will get nice pebbles to go there. Im not doing a proper flower border here as a weed can grow like 2 feet in a week lol so plenty of weed matting and just lots of pots i think
We haven't posted pictures of the house as we want it to be complete before we do,we are waiting on our curtains being made and still have to hang most of our photos up etc so as soon as that is done i will get some on here
We have a holiday booked to Mexico in June as it is Aaron and Kirsty's wedding,cannot wait to catch up with everyone, going to be great
